Juicing is a great way to get your veggies and fruits for the day. Here are some juicing recipes that I use for meal replacement. You can do a juice fast and consume only the juices from fresh fruits and vegetables, in as many times a day as you like and can comfortably drink, in place of solid food meals. Do a detox/juice cleanse that works for you. Drinking an increased amount of juices provides you with a variety of nutrients which you would otherwise not get. Doing a juice fast has many benefits and one of them is eliminating toxins from the body as well as feeling healthy.
Breakfast Smoothie – Mix in a Blender
1 Banana
1 cup of Frozen Berries (Strawberries, Blueberries, Cherries or Raspberries)
1 cup of plain Kefir
1 scoop of Whey Protein
1 tablespoon of Flax seed
Lunch Smoothie – Mix in a Blender
1 Banana
2 Tablespoons of Peanut Butter
1 scoop of Whey Protein
1 tablespoon of Flax seed
1 cup of coconut milk or almond milk
Dinner Smoothie – Juicing Machine
5 large carrots
2 Apples
Jane’s all-time favorite Smoothie – Mix in a blender
1 cup of fresh blueberries
1 cup of frozen black cherries
1 banana
1 tablespoon of flax seed
1 cup of vanilla yogurt
